Schroeder lightning surge generatorIt is a simulation of high-energy transient interference caused by lightning strikes or sudden changes in power loads in nature, mainly used to evaluate the anti-interference performance of electronic and electrical equipment when subjected to such overvoltage pulses.


The CWG 1500's clearly arranged front panel and generator settings enable users to conduct time-saving and optimized testing. Standard test levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 are pre programmed and can be directly stored in test memory named 1-4.

The CWG 2500 uses a capacitive color touchscreen display to make operation simple and easy. All parameters are intuitively visible on the screen without any nested menus, and can be quickly changed by clicking and using a digital rotary encoder. The standard test levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 are pre programmed, and additional test sequences can be stored through memory functionality.

The CWG 1500 test generator simulates high-energy pulses and is suitable for EMC testing of systems and equipment according to the standard IEC/EN 61000-4-5.

The surge generator has three different measurement circuits inside, which are used for the correct physical measurement of surge pulses L to N, L to PE, and N to PE. The current and voltage values can be displayed on the oscilloscope and obtained through the back (BNC connector).

The CWG 2500 test generator simulates high-energy interference pulses and is suitable for EMC testing of systems and systems according to IEC/EN 61000-4-5, VDE 0843-5, and IEC 60 standards.

The operation can be easily carried out through the color capacitive touch screen, and all parameters are displayed clearly without embedded menus. The rotary encoder can be quickly modified by tapping and adjusting. Test levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 of the programmatic standard can be stored with additional test sequences through the memory function.

The CWG 2500 can also be controlled by a PC through a USB interface or optional fiber optic interface.
