Product Introduction

Time slot metering meter, also known as multi rate meter, multi rate meter, or peak valley meter, is an intelligent meter that adapts to the demand for peak valley time of use electricity prices. It divides a 24-hour day into multiple time periods (such as peak, off peak, off peak, etc.) through its built-in clock and control system, and measures and charges the electricity consumption for each time period separately. This type of electricity meter can not only improve the operational efficiency of the power system, but also guide users to use electricity reasonably through price leverage.

working principle

Time control: The electric meter has a built-in real-time clock that can accurately record the usage time of electrical energy.

Time division: The power company divides a day into multiple time periods based on the load of the power grid, such as peak hours, off peak hours, and off peak hours.

Electricity price setting: Each time period corresponds to different electricity prices, with higher prices during peak periods and lower prices during off peak periods.

Data recording and billing: The electricity meter records the energy consumption during each time period based on real-time clock and time division, and automatically calculates the electricity bill according to the corresponding electricity price.

Main functions

Time sharing measurement: measure the electricity consumption during peak, off peak, off peak, off peak, and off peak periods respectively.

Data storage and query: Store historical electricity consumption data and support users to query electricity consumption during different time periods through display screens or communication interfaces.

Remote monitoring and communication: Supports RS485 communication interface, can exchange data with the management system of the power company, and achieve remote meter reading and monitoring.

Prepaid and load control: Some meters support prepaid functions, and users need to recharge in advance. The meter automatically deducts fees based on electricity consumption.
