1 Overview

Arc extinguishing electrical fire short-circuit protectorIt can effectively overcome the shortcomings of slow cutting speed and short service life of traditional circuit breakers, air switches, and traditional monitoring equipment. When a short circuit fault occurs in the protected circuit, current limiting protection can be implemented at microsecond level speed; When an overload current fault occurs in the protected circuit, delayed current limiting protection can be implemented; When the ambient temperature or the working temperature inside the protector exceeds *, it can perform over temperature current limiting protection. This protector can effectively protect the protected circuit, reduce the occurrence of electrical fires, and greatly improve the safety of electrical fires.

ASCP200-40B and ASCP200-40DArc extinguishing electrical fire short-circuit protectorIt is a single-phase current limiting protector with a rated current of 40A. The ASCP200-40B is wall mounted and suitable for installation on walls or distribution cabinet mounting plates. The ASCP200-40D is rail mounted and suitable for installation on distribution cabinet rails or other places where rails are installed.

2 Functional Features

1) Short circuit protection function. The protector monitors the current of the power line in real time. When a short circuit fault occurs in the line, it can achieve fast current limiting protection within 150 microseconds and emit sound and light alarm signals.

2) Overload protection function. When the current of the protected circuit is overloaded and the overload duration exceeds the action time (3-60 seconds can be set), the protector starts the current limiting protection and emits an audible and visual alarm signal.

3) Internal over temperature protection function. When the working temperature of the internal components of the protector is too high, the protector implements over temperature current limiting protection and emits an audible and visual alarm signal.

4) Overvoltage and undervoltage protection function. When the protector detects undervoltage or overvoltage of the line voltage, it emits an audible and visual alarm signal, and can pre-set whether to activate current limiting protection. 5) Temperature monitoring function for distribution cables. When the temperature of the monitored cable exceeds the alarm set value, the protector emits an audible and visual alarm signal, and can pre-set whether to activate current limiting protection.

6) Leakage current monitoring function. When the monitored circuit leakage exceeds the alarm set value, the protector emits an audible and visual alarm signal, and can pre-set whether to activate current limiting protection.

7) The protector has 1 RS485 interface and 1 2G or NB IoT wireless communication. Data can be sent to the backend monitoring system for remote monitoring. The monitoring backend can be the Acrel-6000/B electrical fire monitoring host, the Acrel-6000 secure electricity management cloud platform, or a third-party monitoring software or platform

Adopting guide rail installation
