3、 Installation of plastic rotor flowmeter
〔1〕 Before installation, gently take out the foam support in the instrument with pointed nose pliers, and then install it again. During installation, pay attention to whether the rubber washer is installed in the groove of the connecting pipe to prevent water leakage.
〔2〕 The interface of the flowmeter can be connected with matching ABS plastic pipes, PVC plastic pipes, glued together, or connected with plastic methods and then connected with metal flanges.
〔3〕 The flowmeter must be installed vertically without obvious inclination, and its installation height should be convenient for reading the float. When reading, the line of sight should be level with the float. 〔4〕 There should be a straight pipe section of 5 times the diameter of the instrument at the upstream and downstream inlet and outlet of the instrument.
〔5〕 The pressure of the side fluid must be stable. If the fluid is too strong and unstable, it will cause the float to fluctuate and cannot be measured correctly. A buffer or setting device should be installed upstream of the flowmeter.
〔6〕 The plastic tube rotor flowmeter should be installed vertically, and the angle between the centerline of the flowmeter and the plumb line should not exceed 5 degrees.
