American Seapoint Company Seapointturbidity sensorBy detecting the scattered light of suspended particles in water, an output voltage proportional to turbidity or suspended solid matter is generated. The power consumption is very low, so it is also very suitable for applications that require consideration of battery power. Sensitivity can be selected from two digital lines controlled by hard wiring or microprocessors. When measuring in very clear and very turbid water, it is necessary to choose the appropriate range and resolution. Zero offset voltage less than 0.1mV does not require cross gain calibration. *The optical design of the sensor limits its sensing range to within 5 centimeters, allowing for near bottom measurements and minimizing erroneous reflections within the restricted area. The sensor interface is easy to integrate with data acquisition software and can be configured and customized according to user needs.
