The production standards for PVC-U water supply pipes include British standard, American standard, Japanese standard, ISO international standard, national standard (GB), etc. Domestic manufacturers basically adopt the national standard organization for production, that is, pipe standard number: GB/T10002.1-1996, pipe fitting standard number: GB10002.2-1998. We recommend users to use national standard products, which are in line with the national conditions, have better quality assurance, and are also easy to use with other pipelines (traditional pipelines and other grades of PVC-U pipelines).

1. Pressure regulations for pipelines. (1) The pressure shown in PVC-U water supply pipelines is expressed as nominal pressure, expressed in Mpa. 1Mpa ≈ 10kgf/cm2 is the working pressure of the conveying medium at 20 ℃. But as the temperature of the medium increases (media with a temperature greater than 50 ℃ must not be transported), the working pressure decreases accordingly, which objectively requires consideration of a sufficient pressure safety factor when selecting water supply pipelines. (2) The nominal pressure of water supply pipes is specified as follows: 0.6Mpa, 0.8Mpa, 1.0Mpa, 1.25Mpa, 1.6Mpa, etc. (3) The nominal pressure of pipes of the same specification is generally divided by the wall thickness of the pipe. (4) The minimum diameter of pipes for each pressure zone is specified as follows: 63mm for 0.6Mpa pipes, 50mm for 0.8Mpa pipes, 40mm for 1.0Mpa pipes, 32mm for 1.25Mpa pipes, and 20mm and 25mm for 1.6Mpa pipes. (5) The nominal pressure of water supply pipe materials is generally 1.6Mpa and they are compatible with pipes of various pressures.

2. Specification regulations for pipelines. The specifications and dimensions of PVC-U water supply pipelines specified by national standards are the nominal outer diameter, and the fittings are the nominal inner diameter, represented by "φ". (2) The specifications and dimensions of PVC-U water supply pipelines are as follows: φ20，φ25，φ32，φ40，φ50，φ63，φ75，φ90，φl10，φ125，φ140，φ160，φ180，φ200，φ225 However, domestic enterprises generally do not produce pipes with specifications such as φ 125, φ 140, φ 180, and φ 225. Therefore, in engineering design and adoption, it is advisable to avoid choosing these types of pipes as much as possible. National standard PVC-U pipes can generally be matched with traditional national standard pipes. 3. Regulations on the interface method of pipelines. (1) There are generally three types of interfaces for water supply pipes: rubber ring interface, adhesive bonding interface, and flange connection interface. A、 The rubber ring interface method is to expand one end of the pipe into a socket with a concave groove through an automatic expansion machine, place a flexible rubber sealing ring, and insert the other end of the pipe without expansion into the socket with the sealing ring installed to complete the connection. B、 The adhesive bonding method is to expand one end of the pipe into a smooth socket, and apply special adhesive to the outer surface of the other end of the pipe that has not been expanded and the inner surface of the expanded socket, and then plug them together to complete the connection. c、 The flange connection method is to connect the pipe to traditional pipelines, butterfly valves, gate valves, flow meters, etc., and then connect the end of the pipe connected to the PVC-U flange and then tighten it with screws. (2) There are generally two ways to connect water supply fittings: adhesive bonding and flexible bonding. A、 The adhesive bonding interface method is to inject the socket of the pipe into a smooth socket, and apply special adhesive together with the pipe to complete the connection through socket insertion. B、 The flexible interface method, also known as the pipe fitting method, is molded into a socket with a concave groove, and equipped with a tightening screw cover.
