Structural Description
PN type pump is a single-stage single suction horizontal centrifugal pump. The inlet of the pump is horizontally axial, and the outlet is vertically upward. The pump mainly consists of parts such as the pump body, impeller, guard plate, shaft, bracket (or bearing components), packing box (or shaft seal body), etc. The impeller is open or closed, and the pump body can be a single layer or a double-layer structure with a sheath.
The PNL pump is a single-stage single suction vertical mud pump, which is a variant of the PN pump. The suction port is downward and the discharge port is vertically upward through the outlet pipe.

3. The bearings of this type of pump with a diameter of 4 'or more are directly installed in a horizontal, middle opening bracket, which is easy to disassemble and adjust in a timely manner. (1) Disassembly and assembly shall be carried out according to the general assembly drawing
(2) The inlet pipe should not have a sharp bend and should tilt downwards as much as possible (with a tilt angle of 30 degrees) for easy exhaust
(3) Regular replacement of spare parts and bearings should be mastered to prevent accidents during the operation cycle
(4) Insufficient slurry intake is not suitable for operation to avoid vibration and slurry sedimentation
(5) When stopping the pump, rinse with clean water to prevent blockage
(6) Except for the 1, 2PN mud pump, which has a horizontal outlet, all other pumps of this type are vertically upward
(7) PN type pumps must be filled with a certain amount of shaft seal water, which is generally 1-3% of the working flow rate. The water pressure should generally be greater than the working pressure by 1 kg/cm2
(8) 1PN, 2PN, 3PN, 2PNL, 3PNL turn clockwise when viewed from the direction of the self motor, 4PN, 6PN, 8PN, 10PN, 12PN turn counterclockwise when viewed from the direction of the self motor
(9) In general, this type of pump is better installed using a reverse injection self injection method. (Among them, for 1PN, 2PN, and 3PN pumps, the installation position of the pump should be suitable for the horizontal centerline of the pump shaft under the condition of conveying normal temperature mud, and the water column should be 1 to 3 meters lower than the upper horizontal surface of the transported mud.)
