Introduction to PI Polyimide Film Production Equipment
Our extruder part of the equipment is made of special high-temperature resistant materials, and the screw is designed according to the characteristics of PI plastic. Combined with precision components, the product achieves no crystal point defects. The surface of the three rollers is treated with a mirror finish, and a special cooling channel is used inside to achieve automatic adjustment function in conjunction with the overall system of the equipment, ensuring that the product has good thickness uniformity.
The entire production equipment has a high degree of automation, reducing the workload of workers and saving labor costs.

2. Characteristics of Polyimide Film (PI Film)
It is golden yellow transparent with a relative density of 1.39-1.45. Polyimide film has excellent high and low temperature resistance, electrical insulation, adhesion, radiation resistance, and dielectric resistance. It can be used for a long time in the temperature range of -269 ℃ to 280 ℃, and can reach a high temperature of 400 ℃ in a short time. Specially suitable for use as a substrate for flexible printed circuit boards and various high-temperature resistant insulation materials for motors and electrical appliances.

3. Polyimide film (PI film) application industry
The polyimide film, known as the "golden film", has excellent performance and is widely used in the electronic and electrical industries such as space technology, F and H grade motors, insulation of electrical appliances, FPC (flexible printed circuit board), PTC electric heating film, TAB (pressure-sensitive adhesive tape substrate), aerospace, aviation, computer, electromagnetic wire, transformer, audio, mobile phone, computer, smelting, mining electronic components industry, automotive, transportation, atomic energy industry, etc.

4. Future Development of PI Membrane
PI films are divided into two categories based on their applications: electrical grade for general insulation and heat resistance purposes, and electronic grade with flexibility requirements. Electrical grade PI film can be mass-produced domestically due to lower requirements, and its performance is not significantly different from foreign products; Electronic grade PI film has emerged with the development of FCCL and is a major application field for PI film. In addition to maintaining the excellent physical and mechanical properties of electrical PI film, it also puts forward stricter requirements for the thermal expansion coefficient and in-plane isotropy (thickness uniformity) of the film.
