1、 Definition: A double walled spiral corrugated pipe made of high-density polyethylene (PE) as the matrix, formed into a waveform using a steel strip coated with adhesive resin as the main support structure, and wrapped and compounded with polyethylene material as a whole is called a steel strip reinforced PE spiral corrugated pipe.
2、 Characteristics and requirements
1) Suitable for medium with a long-term temperature not exceeding 45 ℃.
2) Buried plastic drainage pipelines should be designed according to the theory of flexible pipes (the joint action of pipes and soil). At the same time, the vertical variation of the pipeline in the design state shall not exceed 5% of the pipe diameter.
3) The selection of pipe ring stiffness is an important indicator in the design of plastic pipelines, therefore it should be determined by comprehensive consideration of pipeline burial depth, ground load, properties and compaction coefficient of trench backfill soil, and construction load. Blindly adopting high ring stiffness is uneconomical. For pipelines buried less than 1.0m deep under the roadway, the impact of pipeline deformation on the road surface should also be considered.
4) Appearance
The inner surface of the pipe should be smooth, and the external waveform should be regular; The inner and outer walls of the pipe should be free of bubbles and visible impurities, and the weld seam should not detach.
The cross-section of the pipe after cutting should be trimmed and free of burrs.
The steel strip cuts at both ends of the pipe should be on the same longitudinal line of the pipe.
5) The thickness of the anti-corrosion layer, adhesive resin, and outer polyethylene used as the anti-corrosion layer for steel strips should comply with the relevant provisions of CJ/T 225-2006 standard.
6) The physical and mechanical properties of the pipe should comply with the provisions of Table 1.
