Characteristics of mixing dryer

1. Low material and environmental pollution. The material does not come into contact with the heating medium to avoid mutual pollution, and at the same time, it does not use carrying air. Compared with convective heat transfer dryers, it consumes very little gas and carries very little dust.

2. High thermal efficiency and low energy consumption. To avoid significant heat loss caused by exhaust emissions, the thermal efficiency is high, generally ranging from 80% to 90%. Due to the insulation layer on the outer wall of the dryer, for a stirred blade dryer, only 1.2kg of water vapor is needed to evaporate 1kg of water.

3. The cost of the drying system is low. Compared with convective heat transfer dryers, it correspondingly reduces or eliminates some auxiliary equipment, has a compact device structure, occupies a small area, and has a low cost for the dryer system.

4. It is usually designed in a closed manner, and drying can be carried out under vacuum conditions. The evaporated moisture can be carried away by the vacuum, so the amount of non condensable gases is extremely small; If moisture is the solvent that needs to be recovered, condensation method can be used to easily recover the solvent, effectively reducing the material temperature to avoid thermal decomposition of thermosensitive substances; Can effectively control the spread of toxic and explosive substances.

5. Dry products have uniform moisture content and good quality. The residence time distribution of materials in the dryer is narrow, the material interface renewal rate is high, heat and mass transfer are enhanced, and the product is dried uniformly.

6. The scope of material processing is wide. By using different heat media, both thermosensitive materials and materials that require high-temperature treatment can be processed. When the initial material moisture reaches 75% or more, the product moisture can be less than 1%.

7. Easy to operate and control. This type of drying equipment can be operated under pressure or pressure reduction (vacuum), and the heating medium for heat conduction can be steam, hot water, or thermal oil.
