Preloading and internal clearance: The outer ring, inner ring, and axial cage are matched with each other, so after pre tightening with INA precision locking nuts, the bearing can achieve no axial clearance. The internal radial clearance of the bearing complies with group C2 of standard DIN 620.
Bolt mounted bearings: Needle roller/thrust cylindrical roller bearings ZARF (L) have holes on the outer ring. This allows for direct installation in adjacent structures or radial positioning holes through bolts. Due to the bolted installation of the outer ring of the bearing, additional bearing end caps and selection work can be eliminated. Light preloading not only increases the rigidity of the bearing, but also slightly improves its fatigue life. However, if the optimal preload is exceeded, the rated life of the bearing will sharply decrease, and friction and temperature rise will significantly increase.
