Label separation

Application:
Label separation is used in PET bottle cleaning lines to remove labels from bottles. Detailed description:
The part where the label separates and comes into contact with the material is made of stainless steel, which will not rust or contaminate the raw materials.
Principle: The specific gravity method is used to separate bottle fragments and labels. In a sealed box, the bottle fragments and labels fall simultaneously, and a suction fan is used to draw air from the side to form negative pressure. By using negative pressure, labels with lighter weight per unit volume are extracted, and heavier bottle fragments fall, thus achieving the purpose of separating labels from bottle fragments.
Label separation, sometimes also known as air classification, uses air pressure to separate light substances from heavy substances.
The mixture of PET bottle flakes and PP/PE film passes through a sorting chamber with air blowing, where the materials are mixed and blown upwards. Light substances (PP/PE labels) are blown upwards and stored in a collection tank, while heavy substances (PET bottle flakes) fall to the bottom and continue with the next process.
