Austrian B&R Analog Input Module

Embedded industrial computer, also known as box computer or fanless industrial computer, is a more fashionable term. Its full English name is Embedded Industrial Computer. Embedded industrial control computer, in layman's terms, is a compact computer designed specifically for industrial sites.

The structure of embedded industrial control computers can be divided into five types

1. Passive base plate

The slots of the passive backplane are composed of multiple slots for ISA and PCI buses. The number and location of ISA or PCI slots can be selected according to the needs. The board has a four layer structure, with the middle two layers being the ground layer and the power layer. This structure can reduce the mutual interference of logic signals on the board and lower the power impedance. The motherboard can accommodate various types of cards, including CPU cards, display cards, control cards, I/O cards, etc.

2. CPU card

There are various types of CPU cards for IPC, which can be divided into long cards and half long cards according to their size. Depending on the processor, they can be divided into 386, 486, 586, PII, and PIII motherboards, and users can freely choose according to their needs. Its main characteristics are: working temperature 0-60 ℃; Equipped with a "watchdog" timer; Low power consumption, at 5V/2.5A.

3. Industrial power supply

For AT switching power supply, the average operating time reaches 250000 hours.

4. All steel chassis

The all steel chassis of IPC is designed according to standards, resistant to impact, vibration, and electromagnetic interference, and can be equipped with a passive motherboard compatible with PC bus inside.

5. Other accessories:

The other accessories of IPC are basically compatible with PCs, mainly including CPU, memory, graphics card, hard drive, floppy drive, keyboard, mouse, optical drive, monitor, etc.
