Power connection:

Ensure that the voltage and frequency of the power supply are correct, and see the motor nameplate.

The direction of the motor must be consistent with the direction arrow markings. It is strictly prohibited to violate, otherwise it may cause serious damage to the equipment!

For variable frequency motors equipped with independent fans, please remove the fan cover and check if the rotation direction of the main motor is correct. Then install the fan and check if the rotation direction of the fan motor is correct.

Pipeline connection

It is recommended to install a bottom valve with a filter screen at the pump inlet, and the bottom valve should be installed at a distance of 5-10 centimeters or more from the bottom of the medicine barrel to prevent impurities in the medicine from blocking the pump inlet and damaging the pump. The total inhalation height shall not exceed the allowable value in the instruction manual.

The diameter of the entire system pipeline should be the same as the diameter of the pump and should not be changed. Try to keep the pipeline as straight as possible and minimize bends or valves.

Calibration columns, dampers, back pressure valves, safety valves, and pressure gauges must be installed correctly to avoid overpressure, water hammer, and other phenomena that may cause vibration or abnormal pump damage. Pay special attention to the following.

The inlet and outlet of the pump must first be connected to a straight pipe with a length greater than 10 times the nominal pipe diameter.

The pulse damper should be installed vertically at the pump outlet, and the volume should be selected according to different forms of dampers.

Air type: 26 x metering pump capacity per stroke (ml)

Diaphragm type: 10 x metering pump capacity per stroke (ml), charging 60% pump outlet pressure

Airbag type: 10 x metering pump capacity per stroke (ml), charging 60% pump outlet pressure

The pump outlet pipeline must be equipped with a pressure gauge or a reserved pressure gauge interface, located between the damper and the back pressure valve.

The back pressure valve is installed after the outlet pressure gauge, at a distance of more than 10 times the nominal pipe diameter from the damper.

The set pressure value of the safety valve is 1.2 times the allowable working pressure of the pump.

If the total length of the export pipeline exceeds 10 meters, please calculate the pressure loss of the pipeline before selecting the appropriate type.

The one-way valve of the pump is not allowed to be wrapped with PTFE tape. Do not tighten it too hard during installation, otherwise it may cause rupture and leakage.

The pipeline installation support should be correct and firm, and the weight of the pipeline should not be applied to the pump.

Start:

Before starting the pump, the exhaust oil seal on the drive must be pulled out.

Stroke adjustment can only be performed when the pump is in operation, and the stroke length should be set to (during actual operation, it is recommended to adjust the range by 30% -).

After normal start-up, observe the operation of the pump (pressure, flow rate, noise, and vibration) for leaks, etc. If any abnormalities are found, stop the machine in a timely manner for handling.

It is strictly prohibited to hit without liquid.

Other precautions:

The working pressure of the pump is not allowed to exceed the rated pressure on the nameplate.

The pressure of the outlet pipeline must be higher than that of the inlet pipeline, otherwise siphon will occur.

If slight leakage is found in the pump head or after 800 hours of pump operation, it is necessary to tighten the pump head bolts with the correct torque again. Please refer to the operating manual for the torque value.

This pump can only be used for measuring liquid media and cannot be used for measuring gases or solids.

When the drug to be added may react with water (such as concentrated), the pump chamber must be drained before starting the pump (there may be a small amount of water in the pump head when leaving the factory).

In practical use, it is normal for the actual flow rate to differ from the nameplate flow rate due to changes in the viscosity, temperature, pipeline layout, back pressure, and other conditions of the medication. Calibration containers can be used on site for calibration, and the actual results can be used to set the metering pump.

The drive assembly of the pump should have sufficient lubricating oil and reach the centerline position of the oil level observation window.
