Selection method:

Calculate the heat generation of the laser based on its photoelectric conversion efficiency

Calculation formula: P heat=P laser ● (1- η)/η

P heat: laser heat generation (W)

P laser: laser input power (W)

η: Laser photoelectric conversion rate (%), determined according to different lasers.

Carbon dioxide laser value range: 8% -10%

Lamp pump laser value range: 2% -3%

Value range of semiconductor pump laser: 20% -30%

Fiber laser value range: 20% -30%

Example: The output power of a certain brand of carbon dioxide 2000W laser is 2000W, and the photoelectric conversion rate is 8.5%

P heat=2000 x (1-8.5%) ÷ 8.5%=2000x10.8=21530W

According to the selection principle of chillers, the cooling capacity of chillers should be greater than 20% -30% of the heat generation.
