Installation of INA bearings:
The installation of imported INA bearings must be carried out under dry and clean environmental conditions. Before installation, carefully inspect the mating surface of the shaft and housing, the end face of the shoulder, the groove, and the processing quality of the connecting surface. All mating surfaces must be carefully cleaned and deburred, and the unprocessed surfaces of castings must be cleaned of molding sand.
Before installing imported INA bearings, they should be cleaned with gasoline or kerosene, dried before use, and ensure good lubrication. INA bearings are generally lubricated with grease or oil. When using grease lubrication, lubricating grease with superior properties such as impurity free, antioxidant, rust proof, and extreme pressure should be selected. The filling amount of lubricating grease should be 30% -60% of the volume of INA bearings and INA bearing housings, and should not be too much. The double row tapered roller INA bearings with sealed structure and the water pump shaft connected INA bearings have been filled with lubricating grease and can be used directly by users without further cleaning.
When installing INA bearings, equal pressure must be applied on the circumference of the ring end face to press the ring in. Do not use tools such as pliers to directly strike the INA bearing end face to avoid damaging the INA bearing. In the case of small interference fit, the INA bearing ring end face can be pressed with a sleeve at room temperature, and the sleeve can be tapped with a hammer to evenly press the ring through the sleeve. If installing in large quantities, hydraulic presses can be used. When pressing in, it should be ensured that the outer ring end face is tightly pressed against the outer shell shoulder end face, and the inner ring end face is tightly pressed against the shaft shoulder end face, with no gaps allowed. When the interference fit is large, oil bath heating or sensor heating INA bearing method can be used for installation, with a heating temperature range of 80 ℃ -100 ℃ and a maximum of 120 ℃. At the same time, use nuts or other appropriate methods to tighten INA bearings to prevent them from contracting in the width direction after cooling, resulting in gaps between the ring and the shoulder. The clearance adjustment should be carried out after the installation of single row tapered roller INA bearings. The clearance value should be determined specifically based on different operating conditions and the excessive size of the fit. If necessary, experiments should be conducted to determine. Double row tapered roller INA bearings and water pump shaft connected INA bearings have their clearance adjusted at the factory and do not need to be adjusted during installation.
After the installation of INA bearings, a rotation test should be conducted. Firstly, it should be used for the rotating shaft or INA bearing box. If there are no abnormalities, the power should be used for no-load and low-speed operation. Then, depending on the operation situation, the rotation speed and load should be gradually increased, and noise, vibration, and temperature rise should be detected. If any abnormalities are found, the operation should be stopped and checked. It can only be delivered for use after the operation test is normal.

Use of lubricating grease:
Rolling bearings require the constant addition of lubricating grease to replace the deteriorated, leaking, and contaminated grease. Due to the ever-changing operating conditions of rolling bearings, it is necessary to use proprietary on-site technology to determine the appropriate interval for adding lubricating grease, ranging from once a day to once a year. There is no single grease or grease addition plan that can accommodate all load, speed, and operating temperature conditions under which a bearing exhibits outstanding performance.
There are many factors that affect the frequency of lubricant addition. Generally speaking, the smaller the bearing and the faster the speed, the lower the frequency of adding lubricating grease. Bearings with larger specifications and slower rotational speeds require more frequent addition of lubricating grease. The main factors are as follows:
1. Different types of bearings require different lubrication frequencies.
2. Radial ball bearings=fundamental frequency.
3. Cylindrical roller bearings=5 times the fundamental frequency.
4. Thrust rollers and roller bearings=10 times the operating temperature of the fundamental frequency.
5. The higher temperature increases the oxidation rate of the grease, and for every 18 ° F (10 ° C) increase above 150 ° F (65 ° C), the oxidation rate of the grease doubles. For example, a bearing operates at 250 ° F (120 ° C); Compared to a bearing operating at 150 ° F (65 ° C), the frequency of grease addition for the former is usually 10 times that of the latter.
