Plastic mixers may experience various malfunctions during operation. Here are some common malfunctions, their causes, and solutions: -
Mixing time too long
-
Long hot mixing time:
-
reasonThe transmission belt slips, the blade is severely worn, the thermocouple is not inserted properly or there is material accumulation on it.
-
solutionTighten the motor belt, replace the blade, remove the thermocouple for cleaning, and reinsert it in place.
-
Long cold mixing time:
-
reasonThe transmission belt slips, the circulating water is not turned on or the water temperature does not meet the standard (≤ 15 ℃), and the thermocouple conduction is incorrect.
-
solutionAdjust the belt tension, turn on the water pump and ensure that the water temperature meets the standard, and replace the thermocouple.
-
Unloading valve malfunction
-
The discharge valve is not tightly closed or cannot be opened:
-
reasonInsufficient air pressure, solenoid valve not functioning, material accumulation at the valve front, damaged cylinder piston sealing ring.
-
solutionCheck and repair the leakage point, replace the solenoid valve after checking the circuit for errors, clean the accumulated material, and replace the sealing ring.
-
sealing problem
-
Spray powder on hot and cold pot lids:
-
reasonThe sealing strip is damaged or not pressed properly.
-
solutionReplace the sealing strip and re tighten it.
-
Severe powder spraying through cold mixing spray holes:
-
reasonThe sealing ring inside the shaft sleeve is damaged or the breathable cloth bag is not breathable.
-
solutionReplace the sealing ring or clean and replace the breathable cloth bag.
-
Abnormal sounds and vibrations
-
There is a sound at the bottom of the pot:
-
reasonLoose blades and friction, foreign objects entering the pot, and loose nuts.
-
solutionTighten the blade, stop the machine to clean foreign objects, and tighten the large nut.
-
The mixer has high vibration:
-
reasonExcessive clearance between the main shaft and bearings, inadequate connection between the motor pulley and the main shaft pulley, unstable base and pot seat, inadequate dynamic balancing of power transmission components, equipment aging or frame deformation, uneven installation ground, unscientific mechanical design, etc.
-
solutionAdjust the clearance between the main shaft and bearings, ensure that the pulley is connected to the same horizontal plane, reinforce the base and pot seat, balance the power transmission components, inspect or replace aging parts, adjust the installation ground, adjust the blade speed, etc.
-
bearing failure
-
The bearing position is heating up or making abnormal noises:
-
reasonPoor sealing leads to dust, oil shortage, and damaged bearings inside the bearing.
-
solutionReplace bearings, add oil, and replace damaged bearings.
-
Electrical and control system malfunction
-
Cold and hot hybrid electric vehicles do not start:
-
reasonThe main circuit breaker is not closed, the air switch of the secondary line is not closed, the safety travel switch of the cold pot cover is faulty, the hot pot cover is not covered, the press is twisted, the thermal relay is misoperated, and the contact of the contactor is poor.
-
solutionClose the main circuit breaker and secondary circuit air switch, cover the hot pot cover, replace the broken button, reset the thermal relay, repair or replace the contacts.
-
Other faults
-
The hot pot lid cannot be opened or closed tightly:
-
reasonThe cylinder of the pot cover is leaking, not supplying air, and stuck.
-
solutionFind the specific cause of the air leakage and repair it, check the air circuit, and apply a small amount of lifting force to the opposite side of the cylinder.
-
The temperature of the material cylinder is out of control:
-
reasonThe cooling system is not working or the cooling intensity is insufficient, the temperature control wire has poor contact, the temperature controller does not match the thermocouple, the thermocouple probe is not inserted properly, and the contactor is stuck or damaged.
-
solutionCheck the cooling system and adjust the water or air volume, check the contact of the temperature control wire, ensure that the temperature controller matches the thermocouple, insert the thermocouple probe in place, and replace the stuck or damaged contactor.
