As a type of crushing equipment, the common faults of pipe crushers can be classified into four categories: abnormal vibration, blockage, bearing overheating, and transmission system faults. The following are specific faults and solutions:1、 Abnormal vibration

- The motor rotor is not concentric with the crusher rotor.
- The rotor of the crusher is not concentric, which may be due to the two supporting surfaces that support the rotor shaft not being in the same plane.
- The vibration in the crushing chamber is relatively large, which may be due to the lack of concentricity between the coupling and the rotor, or uneven quality of the flat hammer pieces inside the rotor.
- The original balance has been disrupted, such as not conducting a dynamic balance test after repairing the motor.
- The foundation bolts of the crusher system are loose or the foundation is not firm.

solution:
- Move the position of the left and right motors, or add pads under the motor feet to adjust the concentricity of the two rotors.
- Place copper foil on the bottom surface of the supporting bearing seat, or add adjustable wedge iron at the bottom of the bearing to ensure that the two shaft heads are concentric.
- Check and adjust the connection between the coupling and the rotor to ensure concentricity; Replace the flat hammer pieces with uneven quality.
- After repairing the motor, a dynamic balance test must be conducted to ensure overall balance.
- Uniformly tighten the anchor bolts and install shock absorbers between the foundation and the crusher to reduce vibration.
2、 Blockage

- The feeding speed is too fast, resulting in an increase in load.
- The discharge pipeline is not smooth or blocked, which may be caused by too fast feeding leading to blocked air vents, or improper matching with the conveying equipment resulting in weakened or blocked air flow in the discharge pipeline.
- Hammer fragments, aging, closed mesh holes, broken or crushed materials with high moisture content.

- Reduce or close the feeding gate, change the feeding method, and control the feeding amount by increasing the feeder to ensure that the current of the crusher during operation is controlled at around 85% of the rated current.
- Clear the delivery port, change the mismatched conveying equipment, adjust the feeding amount, and ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
- Regularly update broken and severely aged hammer pieces to maintain the good working condition of the crusher; Regularly check the sieve to ensure that the moisture content of the crushed material is below 14%.
3、 Bearing overheating

- Two bearing seats are uneven, or the motor rotor is not concentric with the crusher rotor, causing the shaft to bear additional load impact.
- Excessive, insufficient or aging lubricating oil in the bearing.

- Stop the machine to troubleshoot, adjust the height of the bearing seat or the position of the motor, and ensure that the two rotors are concentric.
- Check the lubricating oil level inside the bearing, add or replace lubricating oil in a timely manner, and ensure that the lubricating oil level is moderate and of good quality.
4、 Transmission system malfunction

- The V-belt is too loose, causing the belt to slip.
- The eccentric shaft tightening sleeve is loose, causing no gap on both sides of the bearing seat of the frame, resulting in the eccentric shaft getting stuck and unable to rotate.
- The voltage in the workplace is too low, and the host is unable to break when encountering large materials.

- Tighten or replace the V-belt to ensure proper tension.
- Reinstall or replace the clamping sleeve to ensure there is appropriate clearance between the eccentric shaft and the frame bearing seat.
- Adjust the voltage of the workplace to meet the requirements of the host's operating voltage.
