On March 27th, hosted by the Plastic Daily Necessities Technical Committee (TC48/SC1) of the National Plastic Products Standardization Technical CommitteeThe national standard revision conference for "General Principles for Composite Films and Bags for Packaging" organized by Guangzhou Biaoji Packaging Equipment Co., Ltd. was successfully held at GBPI Guangzhou BiaojiThe conference gathered experts, enterprise representatives, and industry technical backbones from the national plastic product standardization field to jointly promote the revision and upgrading of national standards in the field of composite films and bags.

National Standards Conference

According to the Notice of the National Standardization Administration Commission on the Sixth Batch of Recommended National Standard Plan and the Plan of Related Standards in Foreign Languages in 2024 (Guo Biao Wei Fa [2024] No. 35), the standard name is General Principles for Plastic Composite Films and Bags for Packaging (plan number: 20242730-T-607), proposed by the China National Light Industry Federation, under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Plastic Products (SAC/TC 48), and revised by Jiangsu Caihua Packaging Group Co., Ltd., Mount Huangshan Yongxin Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Standard International and other units.

At the meeting, General Manager Zhou of Guangzhou Biaoji warmly welcomed the arrival of the expert delegation. Subsequently, under the leadership of Secretary General Peng, the meeting officially kicked off.It is understood thatSince the implementation of the current standard GB/T 21302-2007 "General Principles for Plastic Composite Film and Bags for Packaging" 18 years ago, the packaging industry has undergone three major structural changes:

Firstly, there has been a leapfrog development in materials and process technology, with the popularization of innovative technologies such as co extrusion composite, digital printing, high barrier coating, solvent-free composite, and vacuum evaporation. Modified polyolefins and single material structures have become mainstream;

Secondly, the upgrading of the food safety system has significantly increased the requirements for indicators such as solvent residue, and the corresponding testing methods have been iterated synchronously;

Thirdly, the strengthening of environmental regulations and the formation of technological bottlenecks form a dual driving mechanism, accelerating the industry's technological substitution and intensive development.

The meeting ultimately reached a consensus on the direction of standard revision, laying a solid foundation for the improvement of the draft and the standardized development of the industry.
