In order to deepen the cooperation between industry, academia, and research, and build a bridge for school enterprise education, recently, Dean Jiang, Vice Dean of the School of Food and Health at Guangzhou City Vocational College, led a group of students to visit GBPI International, a domestic packaging and testing enterprise. The event aims to allow students to personally experience the cutting-edge trends of intelligent testing technology, understand the talent needs of the industry, and inject new momentum into their future academic planning and career development.
At the beginning of the event, the teachers and students, led by the staff, visited the GBPI standard's comprehensive scene application exhibition hall, sealed locomotive room, barrier performance testing instrument laboratory, and core instrument workshop. In the exhibition hall, through graphic and instrument displays, teachers and students systematically understand the wide application of our testing instruments in the fields of food, medicine, daily chemical, new energy, etc. In the laboratory, our manager Huang introduced the detection principles and application scenarios of moisture permeability meters, oxygen permeability meters, and breathability meters on site, and answered students' questions; In the production area of the sealing machine, the efficient operation of automated production of suction nozzle bags was praised by teachers and students, and they deeply experienced the trend of modern manufacturing intelligence.
After the visit, both parties held a discussion and exchange in the conference room. The students enthusiastically asked questions, and the atmosphere on site was lively. Our manager Huang patiently answered each question and, based on his own work experience and growth experience, encouraged students to pay attention to the combination of theory and practice.
The event came to a successful conclusion. For students, it not only broadens their horizons but also deepens their understanding of the packaging testing industry, providing reference for academic and career choices; Consolidate the foundation of cooperation between schools and enterprises, and build a platform for the integration of industry, academia, and research. In the future, GBPI will continue to deepen cooperation between universities, leverage the technological and resource advantages of enterprises, and explore new models such as "co building practice bases" and "customized training" in combination with the talent cultivation needs of universities, to help cultivate talents needed by the industry, promote the integration of university teaching and local economy, and achieve collaborative education and mutual benefit between schools and enterprises.
